Participants are asked to keep the camera on, but turn the microphone off. ![]() After a series of short ice-breaker/warm-up exercises and a group sharing session led by a moderator, the work on your individual tasks starts. To achieve deep focus, all distractions should be eliminated prior to the start of the session: the table (workspace) should be cleared and put in order, if working on a laptop, all tabs and programs should be closed, notifications disabled, the phone should be put away to another room and set at silent mode. Participants are invited to join the session at the agreed time, punctually. For the introduction about Deep Work, please read my post from yesterday.Ī Deep Work Session is a 1-3 hour deep focus state when you get to work on your own task, at the same time using the “magic ingredient” of the community.Ī Deep Work Session is held online via Google Meet/Zoom or similar tools (hopefully also f2f in the future).
